  •  Don't forget, every Wednesday this December we are collecting money for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Please consider donating next Wednesday as we celebrate Ugly Sweater day. So come dressed in your most festive sweaters, or other holiday themed outfits. We look forward to seeing your creativity and to collecting money to help children in need. Don't forget that every donation receives a raffle ticket to be entered into our weekly raffle. This week's raffle winners will be announced tomorrow. Thanks

  •  The Outdoor Education Club will be taking two trips to the South Windsor Arena on Wednesday, January 19th and Wednesday, January 26th to go ice skating.  See Mr. Wilkinson in room 112 or Ms. Nelson in room 255 for a form if you’re interested.  Forms are due Thursday, December 23rd.  

  •  Attention athletes- Do you have old or small cleats that don't fit you anymore? All week, there will be a drop off bin next to the security booth at our school to collect new and gently used cleats to redistribute to our community. Thanks for your help!

  • The boys basketball team lost a hard fought game against the Illing Rams on Thursday afternoon. The Cougars had 5 straight points to cut the lead to 3 with 1:30 to play in the fourth.  The Rams made a tough layup on the next possession and after made free throws. The Cougars ended up losing 44-35. Our next game is Jan 4, 2022 home against Tolland.

We ask students from elementary, middle, and high schools from across Connecticut to participate in honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by submitting essays that reflect on Dr. King’s dream, their own aspirations, and the importance of what Dr. King means to them.  Submissions are now open and must be received by January 12th. Essays can be submitted online or mailed to our Hartford office.
  • Teen Center is hosting a Holiday Bonanza Event on Tuesday, December 21st from 3-5:30pm. There will be a gingerbread house competition, cookie decorating, crafts, games, food, and a movie! We hope everyone can join us for this amazing Holiday Celebration.
  • Entertainers, cast auditions will be on the following dates! Grade 6 auditions will be today. For audition details and information, join our google classroom using the code: dkjohqw

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Friday December 10th. 
  • And now for our raffle, everyone who donated to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center has been entered into the drawing. In our two week of collections we have collected $924! Way to go TE, together we are all making a positive difference in our community. Now for the winners…. In 6th grade our winner is Atharva Dhok, in 7th grade our winner is Natalie Czop, and in 8th grade our winners are London Bascomb and Annalyse Mckenna. Congratulations to our winners. Please stop by and see Mr. Goric in room 114 to collect your prizes. Thank you.

Come on over and say hi! Also, starting Monday, December 13, collection bins will be placed by the front entrance of Timothy Edwards for collection during the school day.

  • Hey did you know that we are collecting money for Connecticut Children's Medical Center? We will be collecting donations each Wednesday this month. Bring in $1 or more donation and you will be entered into a raffle drawing for prizes. Drawing for this week's entrants will be held tomorrow. Next Wednesday for Spirit day is music day. So come dressed in your favorite music related outfits… and lets help the children under care at Connecticut Children's.

Today is Wednesday December 8th PJ Day for the Kids!!! Since 2011, hundreds-of-thousands of children in Connecticut and Massachusetts have worn their PJs to school and, simultaneously, have raised more than $1,400,000 in support of kids at Connecticut Children’s. Each year, PJ Day has inspired more and more schools and businesses across the state of Connecticut to participate. TE is helping to raise money for Connecticut Children's Medical Center by participating in the CCMC Pajama day today for spirit day. We will be collecting on Wednesday all month so please bring in a $1 or more donation and you will be entered into a raffle to be drawn each Friday in December.
