  • The softball team defeated Sage Park Middle School yesterday 15 to two.  The Lady Cougars had a great game of hitting to bring them to 4 and zero. Center fielder Alivia Ghila and Catcher Brianna LeGare each had double; Reese Pellerin and Meghan Doherty had 2 doubles; Lilly Morse batted 2 for 3 with 2 singles;  Alexis Nisyrios added a home run and first basemen Cassidy Cole contributed with a single.  Great job!  TE travels to Ellington Middle School again on Tuesday, May 10th. Good luck!
  • The boys track team traveled to Sage Park on Thursday for the 2nd meet of the year, and  were faced with a tough battle.  After a slow start to the meet, the Cougars fought back to make things interesting. Mathias Baidoo set a personal best, jumping 4'10" in the high jump.  Trestan Calloway destroyed the field in the 200 meter dash, earning 1st place.  The combination of Stewart Christophel, Colton Flaherty, and Ben Perkins swept the mile run.  While Blake Wool, Ben, and James Sweet swept the 800 meter run.  Beckham Mills continued his success in the 400 meter, earning 1st place in a close race.  The boys came very close, but were edged out by Sage Park in the end, losing 61-59.  It was a valiant effort for the boys.  Next up is a home meet at SWHS against East Hartford on Monday.
  • The TEMS Cougars Girls track team had a dominating performance by taking all the points in 6 out of the 12 total events winning the meet with a final score of 66-30.  Stands outs from the events include our TE hurdlers, Annabel, Abby Ambooken, Caroline Cavanaugh, Sadhana Ganesan, Kashish Kodnaney, and Audrey Zhang who came in the top five places.  In the 1600, Lavanya Rathore, Olivia Stoner, and Megan Foster took the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.  Gianna DiSalvator, Mia Ruiz, and Camille Scott swept the 400, Izzy Carpenter and Sophia Holovatska crushed the 800, Ioana Luangpraseuth, Bella Panek, and Abby Stricker amazed the crowd with their shot put throws, and Audrey Zhang, Izzy Dzubin, Hasnie Giritharan, and Anvitha Jayavarapu impressed everyone with their discus throws.  The TEMS track and field team will be in action next Monday when it hosts East Hartford at South Windsor High School.

  • SBAC testing will continue today. If you need a Chromebook or headphones, please report to the Library Media Center immediately. Thank you.
  • All of  Mr. Smith-Horn’s classes are canceled today.   Students should stay on the team today.
  • TEMS will be raising money until tomorrow along with Eli Terry and PRS to help fight Pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration, also known as PKAN. PKAN is a brain disorder that you are born with. It affects our ability to do everyday activities. PKAN gets worse as you grow up. Most people end up in a wheelchair and can’t talk. Most people with PKAN pass away before the age of 10.. Please bring a small donation like $1 or $2 to your homeroom teacher. We also ask that everyone wear red on this Thursday May 6th to show their support!

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Wednesday, and May the Fourth Be with You Day!!!
  • The TE Baseball team had their first home game of the season yesterday against East Hartford Middle School. It was a cloudy day at Orchard Hill park and East Hartford brought their A game. East Hartford struck early scoring one run in the top of the first inning. TE answered back with a two out rally by Aiden Jackson crushing a two RBI double scoring Liam Davis and Jaiden "J-Mo" Morales. In the second inning the Cougars came out swinging adding another run to the scoreboard by Daltin Harrison, scoring on an RBI single hit by Lucas Carlson. In the third TE kept fighting hard scoring another run by Brayden Edwards on an RBI by Liam Davis after Brayden stole second and third base. Ryder Haynes scored Ryan Hubbard on an RBI single in the fourth with Daltin Harrison scoring Evan Westfall with an RBI single in the sixth inning. Aiden Jackson kept the falcons quiet after the first inning striking out 5 batters taking the win for the Cougars. Lucas Carlson came in to close out the game pitching the sixth and seventh innings taking the save with a strike out and only giving up one run. The Cougars took the win with a score of 6-2. Next game is home against Ellington next Tuesday. Come out to cheer on the team!
  • The girls softball team beat East Hartford Middle School yesterday 15 to two. Reese Pellerin batted 3 for 5 with one double, Meghan Doherty hit one double and 2 triples, Alexis Nisyrios had 3 triples Olivia Doran had a triple and Brianna LeGare added a double. Other players who contributed to yesterday's hitting was Center fielder Alivia Gliha and first baseman Cassidy Cole.  Great win yesterday!  TE travels to Tolland Middle School today.  Good luck

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Monday May, 2. This weeks spirit day in honor of Star Wars is May the Fourth Be with You. So dress up as your favorite Star Wars character.
  • The Connecticut History Day State Contest SHOWCASE and Awards Ceremony was held on Saturday April 30th. Congratulations to the following TEMS Students: Ishaan Argawal received the George Washington Leadership in History Prize for his Junior Individual Documentary.  Ben Burrill took home the 3rd PLACE medal for his Junior Individual Research Paper Category. Rachel Mathew was awarded 2nd PLACE for her Junior Individual Research Paper. As a result of her top project, Rachel automatically qualified for participation in the 2022 National History Day Contest.  Gauri Kumbar received 1st PLACE honors for her Junior Individual Documentary. Gauri also advanced to the National Contest! THE Spaghetti SistersPenelope Evans and Astha Tripathy were awarded 1st PLACE for their Junior Group Documentary. Penny and Astha have also advanced to the National History Day Contest! The girls were also presented the BILL BRAYFIELD AWARD for Outstanding Documentary during the Awards Ceremony.  Congratulations to all the TEMS students that participated in the Connecticut History Day Contest this year and Good Luck to Rachel, Gauri, Penny and Astha at Nationals!!
  • SBAC and NGSS testing takes place during the month of May.  SBAC Testing for all grades will begin tomorrow. SBAC testing dates include Tuesday, May 3- Thursday, May 5 and Tuesday May 10-Thursday May 12.  NGSS testing for grade 8 only will be on Thursday, May 19.   Please remember to bring a charged Chromebook, earbuds, charger and independent reading book on testing days. If your Chromebook is not working correctly, be sure to submit a ticket into the student online help desk as soon as possible.

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Friday, April 29. 
  • The softball team won their game yesterday against Ellington Middle School, beating them 11 to five. Alexis Nisyrios pitched a great game and struck out 13 batters.  Alexis also batted 3 for 4, with a triple and a homerun.  This is her second homerun in two games. Briana LeGare and Meghan Doherty both caught a great game behind the plate and offensively added a few hits with Meghan having 2 triples.  Third basemen Reese Pellerin and shortstop Olivia Doran also played well offensively.  Reese and Olivia both had triples along with a couple hits.  Congratulations ladies!  TE travels to East Hartford on Tuesday May 3rd.  Good luck!
  • The TEMS baseball team suffered it's first loss of the season on a blustery Thursday afternoon in Ellington by a score of 4 to 0.  TE only managed 4 hits in the game with Aiden Jackson and Elias Jacobs stroking 2 hits apiece.  On the mound, Brayden Edwards struck out 14 batters in the defeat.  The Cougars record stands at 1-1 on the season.  Their next game is Tuesday at home vs. East Hartford. 
  • Attention all sports fans, if you plan on attending the softball or baseball games, you will NOT be dismissed from your last period class until the last bus is called..."all students are now dismissed."  Students will then walk to the cafeteria to meet the game supervisor and sign in.  From there, students attending the game will walk out to the field as a group.  At 4:15pm, all students will sign out and go (with a supervisor) to the parking lot for parent pickup or to the cafeteria to wait for your late bus on Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday game days.   
  • SBAC and NGSS testing takes place during the month of May.  SBAC Testing for all grades will begin on Tuesday, May 3rd. SBAC testing dates include Tuesday, May 3- Thursday, May 5 and Tuesday May 5-Thursday May 12.  NGSS testing for grade 8 only will be on Thursday, May 19.   Please remember to bring a charged Chromebook, earbuds, charger and independent reading book on testing days. If your Chromebook is not working correctly, be sure to submit a ticket into the student online help desk as soon as possible.

  • Are you looking for a fun summer camp?  Do you like PE class or like to play games?  If so, you should look into signing up for TEPEE camp.  TEPEE stands for Timothy Edwards Physical Education Experience. If you have any interest, you can sign up through the recreation department or see Mrs. Giaccone in the main gym with any questions.

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV News. Today is Tuesday, April 26. Just a reminder, this week's spirit day is Artistic Hair day in honor of the opening of the student art show at the library. So let's see some crazy hair on Wednesday!
  • Congrats to our Lady Cougars Track and Field team as they dominated their first meet yesterday against JFK, Enfield.  The TEMS girls won the meet with a score of 84-16.  Some highlights from the meet include Caroline Cavanaugh, Mallory Mead, and Makayla McGrath earning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the high jump.  Maddie Osorio, Morgan Bridgeforth, and Taylor Johnson took all the points in the long jump with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.  Camille Scott took 1st place in the 400 and 3rd place in the 200-meter dash.  In the 400, Mia Ruiz and Kashish Kodnaney were right behind Camilee taking 2nd and 3rd place.  Peyton Bennett and Sadhana Ganesan took 1st and 2nd place in the hurdles.  Emery Forko, Natalie Czop, and Mia Ruiz excelled in the 100-meter run taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Our distance girls did not disappoint, Sophia Holovatska and Izzy Carpenter took 1st and 2nd place in both the 800 and 1600 meter run.  Our throwers continued the winning streak with Hasnie Giritharan, Iona Luangpraseuth, and Bella Panek taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  Our discus girls took the top 6 places with amazing throws from Iona, Audrey Zhang, Anvitha Jayavarapu, Abby Stricker, Bella, and Hasnie.   With only two days to practice as a team, we are all proud of your astounding win!
  • The TE Boys Track team hosted JFK for their first home meet of the season.  In a strong home opener, the TE Boys beat JFK 103-14.  The boys brought the heat, sweeping 7 of the events that day.  In the sprinting events, Josh Fine, Jaden Bridgeforth, and Trestan Calloway put in strong showings.  Josh Fine winning the 100 meter, Jaden the 200 meter, and Trestan the 55 meter hurdles.  Stewart Christophel lead the distance group, winning the 1600 and placing 2nd in the 800, while Blake Wool took 1st.  Beckham Mills did it all for TE, scoring 1st in the Discus, 400, and 4x400 relay with Blake, Evan West and Isaac Gerber.  Mathias Baidoo dominated the jumping events, scoring 1st in the High Jump and Long Jump.  Matt Habeeb, Bryce Hyman, Avaneesh Savkar, and Jerry Zhu helped to sweet the jumping events.  The throwing group was aided by Holden's 1st place in the Shot Put along with strong throws from Rolfy Terrero-Vidal, Andrew Glatt and Maxwell Stoddard. The TE boys came out of the season gates on fire and hope to continue that momentum against Sage Park next Thursday.  
  • Attention all choral students:  For the next two weeks, all chorus classes will be held in Alt.6.  Chorus students should not go to the auditorium.  Instead, go directly to Alt.6 at the beginning of class.  Alt.6 is located on the top floor, in Common Area C.
  • Are you looking for a fun summer camp?  Do you like PE class or like to play games?  If so, you should look into signing up for TEPEE camp.  TEPEE stands for Timothy Edwards Physical Education Experience.   • Another D.S.S Announcement! The school supply drive is extended to tomorrow, Tuesday. Buy a box of pencils, some erasers, or even backpacks for Enfield Educational Resources!  Donating can get you entered into a raffle with awesome prizes! If your homeroom doesn’t have tickets, have your homeroom teacher contact  Mrs. Goodale! Write your first and last name and grade on the ticket and hand it in to Mrs. Goodale. 10 winners will be announced on Wednesday! So make sure to get out the snack money that you never used and donate that, or buy some school supplies from your local dollar store over the weekend!

Write your first and last name and grade on the ticket and hand it in to Mrs. Goodale. 10 winners will  be announced on Wednesday! So make sure to get out the snack money that you never used and donate that, or buy some school supplies from your local dollar store over the weekend!
  • SBAC and NGSS testing takes place during the month of May.  SBAC Testing for all grades will begin on Tuesday, May 3rd. SBAC testing dates include Tuesday, May 3- Thursday, May 5 and Tuesday May 5-Thursday May 12.  NGSS testing for grade 8 only will be on Thursday, May 19.   Please remember to bring a charged Chromebook, earbuds, charger and independent reading book on testing days. If your Chromebook is not working correctly, be sure to submit a ticket into the student online help desk as soon as possible. 
  • TEMS will be raising money from April 18th to May 6 along with Eli Terry and PRS to help fight Pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration, also known as PKAN. PKAN is a brain disorder that you are born with. It affects our ability to do everyday activities. PKAN gets worse as you grow up. Most people end up in a wheelchair and can’t talk. Most people with PKAN pass away before the age of 10.. Please bring a small donation like $1 or $2 to your homeroom teacher. We also ask that everyone wear red on May 6th to show their support!
