  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday, February 3.
  • Did you know that February is Black History Month? Black History Month offers an important opportunity to honor and highlight the accomplishments of Black Americans in history and society, as we continue the learning throughout the year. This event was first celebrated as a week in February of 1926. The week was expanded to a month in 1976 and became officially recognized by the US Government by President Gerald R. Ford. Throughout the month we will spotlight influential members of our society from the Black Community.
  • Last night the Lady Cougars suffered their first back to back loss of the season, falling to Suffield 53-37.  It was difficult for TEMS to control the Wildcats best player as she led all scorers with 22 points.  The Lady Cougars were led by Keira Deitelbaum who set another career high with 14 points on the night.  Shea Brochu, who unfortunately kept getting knocked around all over the court, helped out with 10 points and numerous steals on the defensive end.  Teagan Purcell had 8 points while Kylah Wood and Gianna DiSalvatore rounded out the scoring with 3 and 2 points respectively.  While the ladies' regular season is over, they are awaiting results from other games to find out what seed they will be in the playoffs, the 'second' season for the girls.  The Lady Cougars could finish in either the #2, 3, or 4 seed depending on how the other games finish up.  Congrats on a great season ladies and good luck in the playoffs.

  • Attention Entertainers cast and crew: Check the Google Classroom for next week's rehearsal and meeting schedule! Cast: remember that next week's rehearsal's go until 5pm and you'll need a ride home! We're also adding Tuesday rehearsals each week until the show so plan accordingly.

  • Welcome back to another edition of TETV Morning News. Today is Friday, January 27.
  • It was a quick drive up to Windsor as the Lady Cougars battled the Stage Park Chargers last night. The Lady Cougars came out on top 51-43. Without their two top points scores, the Lady Cougars had to find other alternatives on the office event. Kiera Dietelbaum set career high and lead the team with 11 points, while Shea Brochu added 10, including six for seven from the free throw line. Maria Puniello and Teagan Purcell both had seven on the night as well.  Gianna DiSalvatore took advantage as well and also had a career high 6 points! Lastly, Emery Forko had 4, and Olivia Dzubin, Kyla Wood, and Mia Haynes chipped in a bucket a piece. The girls really did well, considering they only had 10 healthy players for the game. The last two regular season games are next week against JFK and Suffield. Congrats on the win girls!
