• Attention to those trying out for a fall sport...Checks and physician's statements can be brought in to the main office.  Forms are due by Friday, August 31, 2018. To be eligible to try out, you must be signed up in Parent Portal, turn in a check for $100 made out to Timothy Edwards Middle School and provided an up to date physician's statement. Checks will be refunded if you are not selected for the team.

• Attention girls who are trying out for Field Hockey: Tryouts will start on September 4th for NEWCOMERS ONLY from 2:45-4:30. Meet in the main gym after school. September 5-7th will be for everyone trying out until 4:30. Shin guards, mouth guard, sneakers, and water bottle are mandatory for tryouts. Sticks can be provided. Any questions see Mrs Custer or Mr. Wilkinson.

• Attention all boys interested in Boys Soccer tryouts: Boys Soccer tryouts will be held next week, September, 4th, 5th, and 6th, that's Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, immediately after school until 4:00.  All students must have a ride home at 4:00 as late buses are not available. Again, all players must have a ride at 4:00 as late buses are not available. Players must bring soccer shoes and shin guards to participate.  Water is also highly recommended.  Players should report to the main gym immediately after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

• Attention all Girls Soccer players: Tryouts for the TEMS Girls Soccer team will be held next Tuesday through Friday immediately following school until 4:15. All players should report to the main gym with cleats, shin guards, and a water bottle. All players must arrange for a ride to pick them up at 4:15.

• Girls and Boys Cross Country tryouts will be Tuesday, September 4th through Friday, September 7th immediately after school until 4:00.  You will need to have a ride arranged for 4:00 as there are no late buses next week. Change in the locker room after the bell and make sure to have a water bottle for all tryouts.  All sports forms must be completed and turned into the main office by this Friday in order to tryout next week.

• Good morning TEMS!  Welcome back!  At bus duty this morning, it was so nice to see so many familiar faces and so nice to welcome new faces.  Over the next week administration will be meeting with all teams to personally welcome you and talk about the contributions you can make in ensuring a positive, productive school year.  As a matter of fact, I will be seeing seventh grade teams today!!  All of staff here work hard to make TEMS a great place for learning and we will support you to be successful! • And now here is Jordan with the weather for our summer break. How does it look today Jordan? As we end the school year today’s temperatures will be in the upper seventies with mostly sunny skies. As we head into summer vacation temperatures will be in the low seventies for the beginning of the weekend but then they will be rising as we head into next week, with low temperatures hovering just around sixty degrees other than a couple days when they will be in the fifties. We are expecting mostly sunny skies other than Saturday and Sunday when there will be rain showers throughout both days. Now it's time for my prediction, I predict that most the summer ahead is going to be pretty warm with endless possibilities. As we head into the rest of the week temperatures will be dropping from the nineties back into the mid eighties, with low temperatures in the mid seventies today but then dropping into the mid sixties. • As we end the week today’s temperatures will be in the mid seventies with mostly sunny skies for most of the day until just around 4:00 when there is a slight chance for some rain showers. As we head into the weekend temperatures will be rising into the nighties by Monday but then dropping off to just around 80 degrees after that, with low temperatures just around sixty degrees until this weekend when they will rise into the upper sixties and low seventies. We are looking at pretty sunny skies overall other than Tuesday when there is the possibility for some rain showers during the first half of the day, but Father’s Day is still looking nice.
