Kids Read

Nutmeg Children’s Book Award- This is the official Connecticut book award website. The Nutmeg Book Award encourages children in grades 2-12 to read quality literature and choose their favorite from a list of nominated titles. All nominees are selected by school library media specialists, public librarians, and student representatives. You become eligible to vote for your favorite nominee each April after having read one or more nominee. Also, learn all about current and past nominees, as well as previous and current winners. 

Reading Rants- Jennifer Huburt is a middle school librarian in New York City that has developed this site for students and teachers. Look under, "Reading Rant Lists" for some creatively named booklists.

Teen Reads- Great booklists, links to author sites, reviews written by teens...this site is a great place to browse for a recommendation.

Based on the Book- Search by book title, movie title, or author with this listing of movies based on books.

Teen Booklists- King County Library System- Great booklists from a wide variety of genres.
