Kayden Burke, Christina Bellizzi, Maddy Riopel, Zoe Calhoun, Melissa Murdoch and Emily Scola did a great job moving the ball through the midfield to keep the Cougars in striking distance. Maya Lagasse, Grace Reed and Molly Frank played great defense. The Cougars final game of the season will be on Wednesday at Avery Middle School in Somers.

  • TEMS will be holding our 7th annual Kenny Offiaeli Memorial Basketball Tournament on Friday  November 10th from 5:30-8:30 here at TEMS.  This tournament honors the life of a former TEMS student and basketball player who suddenly passed away during his 8th grade year.  The money raised from the tournament goes to support the Kenny Offaieli scholarship fund that is given to an 8th grade student each year at graduation.    This tournament is open to any student at TEMS.  You may pick up a registration packet in the main office or main gym.  Forms are due by October 27th to the main office.
  • Outdoor Education is going on a hike at Valley Falls in Vernon Thursday, October 26th.  Please stop by the main office for a form if you're interested.  Forms for the hike are due back to the office by Wednesday, October 25th. All students are welcome to attend.
  • Good morning TE.    We have heard there are heavy Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes in some homerooms.  Maybe in Cobalt and Scarlet Team homerooms?  Won't you join them and fill up your homeroom box with spare change?  Want another chance for a cross team lunch?  Be the grade level to raise the most and enjoy a lunch with some of your friends on other teams.  Remember, the donations go to help children around the world who need clean water, medicine, food and even education.  Won't you be a part of this worthy cause?  Thank you!!
  • The TEMS Outdoor Education Club will be heading to Foster Farm on Monday, October 30th for a hay ride and some corn maze fun. If you are interested please pick up a permission slip in the Main Office, or see Mr. Wilkinson in room 112.
  • Attentions all 8th graders:  Are you interested in playing flag football after school.  If so, please get your team together for a chance to play in The Cougar Bowl.  Team rosters and permission slips are to be handed in to Mr. Chandler by Friday, October 28th.  The dates for the Cougar Bowl are listed on the parent permission slip.  If your team is good enough, you may get a chance to lose to the "undefeated" teachers just like every other team before you.  Don't hesitate and get your team roster in ASAP.  See Mr. Chandler for more details and good luck.
  • Students that are in Generation Leadership will get a pass from their homeroom teachers this morning.  Please bring this pass to the program as this is your entrance ticket.  Generation Leadership starts at 10 am in Alt. 6.
  • Tomorrow is Unity Day. Please wear something orange as we unite against bullying. If you see someone being disrespectful or unkind tell that person to stop or tell an adult. Be a part of the change and wear orange to unite against bullying!
  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have Chicken Tenders. In the Grill line you can have a Three Cheese Pretzel sandwich and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best, and remember to always strive for 5!
