  • Do you love writing, poetry, drawing, photography, and more.  Then you should submit to Out of the Blue, our school’s nationally awarded literary magazine for 7 years in a row!!! You might win 1 of our contests, such as our cover contest, strive for 5 contest, or even our writing contest. But you have to submit to win! You never know, maybe you could even get an Amazon gift card that is worth at least $20. Just remember to get a form. Forms could be located in the main office, the Garnet hallway, and on the TEMS homepage. Did you know that 6th grade Sage team has the most submissions in the whole school! The other 6th grade teams are not far behind though. But 7th grade and 8th grade need to up their game. Do remember that all submissions are due, Monday April 15, the day we come back from April Break. Some teachers even will give you extra credit for your submissions. You could draw a picture, take a photograph, write a poem, write a story, or draw or write something about what Strive for Five means to you.  So please be sure to use your free time over break to work on your submissions, instead of binge watching Netflix. Time is ticking, so please submit. OUT OF THE BLUE NEEDS YOU!!!

  • The Outdoor Ed. Club has two final outings coming up this May.  The first is a trip to Block Island for a bike ride and the last is to Collinsville to either paddleboard or kayak- students' choice.  If you received a form for the bike ride this week it is because you signed up for the fall trip that got canceled.  Be sure to return the form tomorrow if you want to go because after April vacation the Block Island bike trip will be opened up to all TE students.  Forms for the paddleboarding and kayaking trip are available now in the main office, or you can see Mr. Wilkinson or Ms. Nelson for a form.
