  • All slipper donations should be brought to the main lobby this morning. There is a collection box available for you to put them in. If you forgot your slippers today, do not worry, we will be collecting them all week for the Interval House, a charity that supports victims of domestic violence. Please consider bringing in a pair of slippers to help with this cause.

  • Out of the Blue will meet after school on Monday January 11 in room 312 in the Garnet hallway.  Please bring your copy of the magazine, your notebook, and something to write with.  Please see Ms. Olsen before Monday if you are unable to attend.

  • This Friday night, January 10th, will be our annual Activity Night, where TE will be open to students to have a great time with friends.  There will be a DJ in the café for a dance, an open gym with Nuke 'Em and Pin Guard, and a movie in the Media Center.  Tickets will be on sale before school in the lobby on Wednesday the 8th through Friday the 10th.  Activity Night will run from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.  Come out for a great time!  All proceeds will benefit TE Teams and student activities.

  • Registration for the Afterschool Matinee program is now closed. Thank you!

  • Today for lunch in the Create line you can have Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks, in the Grill line you can have Bacon Cheeseburger and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a good day and do your best to strive for five!

  • Attention students: Are you interested in improving your overall fitness or maybe you want to get in shape for the up and coming softball, baseball, or track season?  If so, there are still spots available for the Cougar Fitness Club.  This is an after school activity that starts on Wednesday, January 16th.  Registration forms are due, soon so pick up a form in the main office or see Mrs. G or Mr. S for more information.

  • The TE Lady Cougars where in action last Friday taking on the Ellington Wildcats. The Cougars came away with a hard-fought victory 37-26. Leading the way for the Lady Cougars was Olivia Petgrave with 12 points, followed by Anna Matus with nine. Five other players chipped in at least 2 points on the night. Jada Reyes, Tran and Princess Black did a great job cleaning the glass underneath. The next game for the Lady Cougars is Tuesday against East Hartford. Congratulations girls!

  • Attention all 8th grade students:  Auditions for the South Windsor High School Show Choir "Choral Spectrum" will  be held in late February.  In preparation, three high school Choral Spectrum members will be holding clinics to sharpen skills for the audition.  The optional clinics will be held on Jan 8, 14 and 18 in the TEMS auditorium.  Please pick up a flyer located outside of the chorus room, room 145, for more information.

  • Today’s the day!  Out of the Blue will meet immediately after school today in room 312 in the Garnet hallway!  We hope to see you there!
