  • Looking for a place to hang out with your friends? TEMS students are welcome at the SW Teen Center on Friday nights from 6:00-9:15 pm.  The teen center has games you can play, activities, pool tables, foosball and air hockey.  Snacks are available to purchase.  Parents must fill out a registration form when they drop you off.  This Friday 9/20 is opening night.  Hope to see you there!

  • The lady Cougars made their debut away yesterday afternoon vs Illing. The Cougars dominated play and took away the victory 8-0. Arden Samson led the score sheet with a hat trick and one assist on the day. Leighana Ferrabelo, Katelyn Roux, both slotted two on the day, and Emerson Iacovelli rounded out the total with an amazing corner kick that swerved in around the goalkeeper. Additional assists came from Sidney Montana and Leighana Ferrabelo. Play of the game came from the goal keeper Haley Butler who assisted Samson off an amazing punt through the Illing defense. Outstanding play came from Hailey Testa, Huntyr Courtois, Mikayla Evans, Ritika Abburi, as well as superb passing from Isabelle Beaulieu, Sam Grodovich, and Elise Suffish. Players making their debut in the Cougar uniform included Julia Jaworski, Ashley Zanelli, Christianna Macchi, Mia Ruiz, Sam Roux, Cassie Polansky, and Ava Hapkiewicz. The Lady Cougars look forward to seeing you at our first home game this Thursday vs Tolland.

  • Attention all band students: Please report directly to the auditorium for class today.  Please bring your Chromebook and headphones.  You will need headphones to complete the assignment.  Mr. Marci's Music Matrix class should report directly to their usual music matrix room.
  • Attention all TEMS band, orchestra or chorus students wishing to be a part of the award winning TEMS Jazz Ensemble;  audition music is now available.  Band members should log onto Google Classroom for information, while orchestra and chorus students should see their music teacher for the Jazz Band Google Classroom code.  Hurry, auditions are next week!  The band has a special need for piano players who take private lessons.  If that sounds like you - please audition!

  • The TE boys soccer team was in action last night taking on the Illing Rams of Manchester.  It was a gorgeous day for a game and the home team didn't disappoint.  Jake Gattuso led off the scoring onslaught six minutes into the contest.  Mason Layaw then assisted on a ball to Monteserin just one minute later making it 2-0.  Vaughn Bizier added a third before half time.  In the second half, Gattuso found the net two more times and Monteserin added his second of the game.  Illing score off a penalty in the second half but didn't trouble returning keeper Joey Bemis in goal that often.  The Cougars play on Thursday night at Tolland in the CRAL.
  • Today for lunch in the Create line you can have Chicken Nuggets, in the Grill line you can have Turkey Hot Dog and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a good day and do your best to strive for five!
