The boys basketball team lost 62-60 to Illing on Friday in a hard fought battle between the teams. A late 3 point play tied the score but Illing hit a shot with 3 seconds left to give the Rams the win. The cougars drop to 1 - 2  but look to even their record on Tuesday vs. JFK at home.

The Lady Cougars took on the Illing Rams last Friday and fell short 48-23.  However, it was a vast improvement from the first contest with Illing in terms of hustle and determination.  Leading the Lady Cougars was Nour Abunasra with 8 points while Angie Santiago had four and Reagan Heafey-DeAngelis had three.  The next game for the Lady Cougars is Tuesday away to JFK in Enfield.  Tip-ins: Sharon Iweka, Nadine Abunasra, Sophia Bowers and Cassie Polansky all had two points a piece in the contest.

Today for lunch in the Create line you can have General Tso's Chicken, in the Grill line you can have BBQ Chicken Sandwich and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a good day and do your best to strive for five!

  • Hello I'm Sarah Wayne would like to make an announcement to TEMS. On June 6th I will be celebrating my Bat Mitzvah, this is a special day that I have been working hard on. I will be organizing a slipper drive here at TE. So, I would like to ask the students and teachers on next Monday January 6th to bring in a pair of slippers, If you bring in a pair of slipper you will be able to wear a pair of slippers.  I would like people to participate in this because this is for moms and children that are going through domestic violence. They're not in great situation so I would love to help them with you. With this slipper drive I will be donating all the slippers that I received to a place called interval  house. This  is the organization where the moms and children go they come with nothing except the clothes on their backs. So I would like you to help me help them by making their lives better  and making them happy thank you.
