  • This week is a Purple week. It is a Day 4 for Grade 6 and a Day 5 for Grades 7 & 8.
  • Black History Month- Spotlight on Jesse Owens.
  • The Teen Center and Youth & Family Services are offering a “Strides for Positive Vibes” walking group. It will take place beginning on March 3rd, and will be the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 3-4pm. We will meet at a different trail each session, and de-stress from the technology while connecting with nature and getting some fresh air! If you are interested, please call Danielle at the Teen Center or register through Eventbrite.
  • Attention Entertainers: It's hard to believe, but today is the last rehearsal for the entire cast.  Ms. Lyons will see you on the Meet at 3:00 and you'll be learning choreography for Interjections today. Students playing the characters of Tom, George, Joe, Dori, Dina, Shulie AND JANET also have a Meet with Ms. Sitarz to work on dialogue. Ms. Fisher will also be available for any student needing help or feedback on any song.  Look forward to seeing you then!

  • If you are a grade 8 student interested in applying to Cheney Tech and want to meet with a representative, please email your guidance counselor (Mrs. Lakomy or Mrs. Levrault) by Tuesday, February 9th.  A representative from Cheney Tech will be virtually meeting with interested students on February 10th.
