TE Morning News - June 3, 2019 
  • Attention TEMS students and staff...the TE baseball team will be playing in the League Championship game today at Rotary Field in South Windsor at 3:45 pm.  Please wish the team good luck and come out to support the Cougs!!!

  • This is a reminder that the South Windsor High School Fall coaches will be here after school this Wednesday June 5th. Coaches will give information on tryout dates, summer workouts, and to answer any questions you may have.  If you intend to tryout for a Fall sport at SWHS please make every effort to attend.  If you have not signed up please see one of the PE teachers.  
  • Attention all Track and Field athletes!  Our party will be held after school this Friday, June 7th until 4PM.  There will be NO late buses that day, so please arrange transportation on time.  6th graders, please bring a dessert.  7th graders, please bring drinks. And 8th graders, please brings some snacks to contribute to the party.  Also, please wash your uniform jersey, shorts and jacket and deliver them to your head coach in Room 261 or 262 before the day of the party! See you there!

  • GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLL! Hey soccer fans - Do you want to take your game to the next level?  If so, join Mr. Chandler and Mr. S this summer for Cougar Soccer Camp the last week of July.  In order to attend, please sign up through the Rec Department.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Chandler and Mr. S for more information.  Improve your game this summer at Cougar Soccer Camp!
  • This is a friendly reminder that all TE library materials are due back on Wednesday, June 6th. Students and staff, if you see any stray TE library books in the hallways or in your classrooms, please return them to the LMC. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Mrs. Longo.

  • ALL TE Students, there is still time to sign up for VOLLEYBALL Night this Thursday, June 6th. Registration forms will be accepted until today. Sign up as an individual or register an entire team to play from either 3 PM - 5 PM or 6 PM - 8 PM. Forms are available in the main office or see Mr. Smith-Horn in room 358. 

  • The girls softball team played their final game Friday. The team took a 4-2 lead into the fourth inning with Maggie Poulin starting the rally with a hit followed by Gabby Ryan, Ava Shasha and Lylah Henneman. Sienna Hart and Taylor Nisyrios also added hits. Kennedy middle school ended up taking the lead and never gave it up. The play of the day was catcher Sienna Hart throwing to Aricka Bousa at third base to throw out a potential base stealer. Congratulations to the girls on a fine season.

  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have Chicken Nuggets, in the Grill line you can have Turkey Dog, and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches.  Have a great day, do your best and remember to always strive for 5!
