TE Morning News - February 7, 2019
  • If you have signed up for the Outdoor Ed. snow tubing trip, please pack up and meet in the lobby by the main office after school.  If you are unable to fit everything in your locker, please stop by Ms. Nelson's room in 251 and leave your stuff on the counter to be picked up after school.  We will change into our winter gear once we get to Powder Ridge, so no need to put on 8 million layers until we actually get there.  See you after school in the main lobby!
  • Tomorrow, Friday, is Comfy, Cozy Day. Donate a $1.00 or a household item and wear your most comfortable clothes. Just comfy clothes please; no stuffed animals or big blankets. Thank you!
  • The Girls Basketball team lost to JFK yesterday, in a tough game in Enfield.  The Cougars could not get the offensive juices flowing, and finished the first half with only 8 points.  The team came alive in the 4th quarter, but it was too late to defeat the Patriots on their home court.  Anna Matus led the team with 8 points, Jada Tran finished with 6 and Nour Abunasra chipped in 4.  Jahnavi Vadavalli, Emerson Iacovelli, and Blossom Iweka were solid on defense.  The team plays again today against Sage Park, in a game with major playoff implications.  The Cougars hope to lock up the number 3 spot with a win.
  • Be the Change Club needs you! We are trying to raise some profits at the basketball game this Monday for POPpers for Puppies, a fundraiser started by the preschool program here at TE.  We will be selling snacks and drinks so that we can donate the profits to POPpers for Puppies. Your money will support local animal rescue groups so they can help animals in need. See you at the game this Monday, and don’t forget to bring some money for snacks and donations to POPpers for Puppies!
