  • Have you noticed the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF signs that appeared all over school last week?  It is that time of year again.  Won't you consider digging out some spare change at home or in your backpack to help children all over the world? UNICEF helps children in emergencies by providing food, safe drinking water, medical care and education.  Children deserve a chance to live happy, healthy lives.  Please help by donating to your homeroom Trick-or-Treat box.  Thank you!!
  • The TEMS Field Hockey team lost a tough one yesterday with a score of 2-0 against Granby. TE started out strong forcing the ball to the Granby side of the field with strong play from Sophie Finer, Tori Jarvis, Rachel Turer and Abby Bergstrom. Defense played great keeping the score tied going into half time but Granby was able to sneak two into the goal late in the second half. Avery Fournier, Greta Slater, Maya Sweedok and Grace Rich played great defense. The Cougars put up a good battle in the second game but fell short with a score of 4-1. Scoring the only goal for the Cougars was Alexa Parada. Karen Luo, Julia Craig, Emily Osit and Avery Vensus played great! The cougars next game is Wednesday, home against JFK of Enfield.
  • The lady Cougars hosted JFK yesterday afternoon in their last home game of the season. The Cougars started the game strong with a handful of chances in the first few moments from Lexi Lilly and Sarah Gordon. The Cougars dominated possession for most of the game only giving JFK a few chances on net. Defenders Anna Matus, Leighana Ferrabelo, Sidney Montana, and Hailey Testa were busy at the back and had exceptional performances on the day. Outstanding play in the midfield came from Emily Legder, Emerson Iacovelli, Iniya Raja, and Huntyr Courtois. The four were vital in keeping possession of the ball and set up many of TE's chances in the second half. Midfielders Lexi Lilly, Katelyn Roux, and Mikayla Evans demonstrated exceptional passing especially in the second half despite being down 1-0. Shots in the second half came from Elise Suffish, Iniya Raja, Abby Peruccio, Arden Sansom, Chion Pollard and Sidney Montana. Haley Butler rounded out the Cougar defense in goal and held seven saves on the day. The TE Cougars match up against rivals Tolland in their last game of the season this Thursday. Come on out to support the team!
  • The Timothy Edwards boys soccer team competed last night against the Patriots from JFK. Opening the scoring for the Cougars was Xavier crane on an unassisted solo effort. Aadi Dey finished nicely from Drew Monteserin, then scored on a solo effort. Vaughan Bizier tallied with a pass from Ben Bernstein. Both teams exchanged penalties with Kyle Castro burying his chance. Monteserin scored Unassisted while Damian Ayala rounded out the scoring from Tyler Romero. The Cougars last game is Wednesday against Holland. Hope you can come cheer on the boys.
  • Hello students and teachers of Timothy Edwards, we need your help! Make a difference day is coming up and Luca and I are planning to make a BIG DIFFERENCE on Friday, October 26th. In order for us to accomplish this we need your help on sending care packages out to Deployed Troops, New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, and Wounded Heroes. This is called Operation Gratitude. Please help us accomplish this by bringing in donations on the wish list that is listed on the flyer that will be given out in every homeroom. During our planning, we encountered a problem.  The problem was we have to pay for shipping. We came up with a solution to this problem.  We will do a few hat and jeans for charity days. We will let you know those dates. I hope every student can participate in this drive. Remember if you participate you will make a difference too. Thank you!
  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have French Toast, in the Grill line you can have Mozzarella Sticks and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best,  remember to always strive for 5!
