  • Hey 6th graders... are you looking for something fun to do after school? Join us for the Healthy Living Fest, which will be held in the cafeteria on Wed., April 25th from 2:40-4:10. Tickets are only $5 each. They will be sold in the morning in the lobby this Wed. thru Friday. You can play games, make slime, do yoga, try a trivia game, try a drumming circle and lots more. Snacks and prizes too! So remember 6th graders - buy your ticket this week!

  • Attention Boys and Girls Track Teams:  Just a reminder that there is NO track practice today.  Please go home on your regular bus.  

  • We would like to congratulate Aarav Nair for placing in the top 20 out 100 students in Connecticut at this year's state National Geographic Bee.  We are proud of you Aarav!

  • T. E. is forming a team to walk in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on June 8th. This is a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. If you would like to be involved in planning our participation, or participating in the event, please attend a planning committee meeting Thursday April 19 after school in room 341. All grades and teams are encouraged to participate.

  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have French Toast. In the Grill line you can have Mozzarella Sticks and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best, and remember to always strive for 5!

  • Hello TE, Hope You Have A Great April Break!!! On other news, I will be retiring at the end of the day so I have a Replacement! And his name is Bryan!!!!! Why does a room full of married couples seem so empty? There's not a Single person inside!!!!!

  • Are you looking for something to do over vacation?  Well come to TEMS from 9:00-12:00 each day next week to participate in:  Cougar Basketball Camp for 6th Graders only in Next Week! (April 9-13), 9:00-12:00 in the TE Main Gym and Cougar Cheerleading Camp for 6th-8th Graders is also running Next Week 9:00-12:00 in the TE Small Gym. 
  • “Do you like working out? Are you interested in getting in better shape? If so you should join the spring session fitness club with Miss Gasparino. The fitness club starts Monday April 16th, the day we get back from April break. If you are interested, you can see Miss Gasparino in the gym or in room 363 or you simply sign up through the recreation department. More information can be found in the main gym or in room 363. Spots are filling fast so hurry up and sign up!”

  • "Well TE, the day is finally here!  It's the last day...To submit to Out of the Blue  (We hear it's also the last day before vacation too!)  We would love to feature your talents!  Shout out to Zi'onna Davis, Lanni Delgado, and Shelby Gerber for their submissions.  Club members, please be aware that we will meet on Monday April 16, our first day back from vacation, immediately after school in room 312. Please let Ms. Olsen know if you will be unable to attend."

  • HAT DAY TOMORROW $1 
  • April is Autism Awareness Month. To raise awareness and to raise money, we will be having a school wide hat day this Friday, April 6th. Bring in $1 and wear a hat for the day. Stickers will be sold in B common areas in the morning. But wait, that's not all! When you donate your dollar, you will also be entered in a raffle drawing to win a gift card to Starbucks or iTunes.  Don't forget - hats for Autism on Friday!!

  • Thinking of playing Football or Cheer? Gain valuable experience this fall playing or cheering for the South Windsor Panthers. For more information come to a meeting tomorrow in room 364. Please plan on having a ride home at 3:30 or taking the late bus home. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Custer.

Donations can be made at the common areas on each floor by entrance B on Friday mornings before homeroom.  Also, check out the "Myth vs Fact" posters in the common areas  to learn more about Autism. Don't forget - hats for Autism on Friday!!

  • Good morning TE... My name is Kailey, and my name is Maddie, and we are the Spotlights Girls Dance Captains. Just a reminder, to please join the Spotlight Show Choir, and the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Chorus's tomorrow at Dairy Queen in South Windsor from 5-8 pm. 10% of proceeds will go to funding costumes, props, and other materials. Whether you dine in, drive thru, or take out, your purchase will matter. If you have any questions feel free to ask us or Mrs. Gasta. Stop by Dairy Queen tomorrow to eat some great food and help a great cause!!!
  • Attention Entertainers:  if you're missing sweatshirts, hats, earbuds, water bottles, shirts, aprons, headbands or anything else - please check the lost and found table in the main lobby - it's all there!  If you didn't attend the party Saturday night, Ms. Petrin has the picture of the cast and crew for you.  Stop by her room any time for your copy.

  • On Saturday, many TEMS students participated in the Manchester Regional of History Day. Congratulations to all the participants who presented their finished projects. Special Congratulations to:

Rosemary Christophel and Anushri Sandeep who were  awarded 2nd Place Medals for their Junior Group Performance. Aricka Boosa, Kavya Ramasamy and Iris Wen who were awarded 3rd Place Medals for their Junior Group Website.

Isha Bang, Anisha Bhatnagar, Matthew Chin, Mayee Mavillapalli and Kashyap Rao who were awarded 3rd Place Medals for their Junior Group Documentary .Alyssa Chandler and Alyssa Sealander who were awarded 1st Place Medals for the Junior Group Documentary.

Nidhi Cheetti who was awarded a 3rd Place Medal for her Junior Individual Documentary. John Carter who was awarded a 2nd Place Medal for his Junior Individual Documentary AND Rishabh Mohapatra who was awarded a 1st Place Medal for his Junior Individual Documentary.

All of the medalists will now begin to prepare for State Competition on April 28th. Good luck to all the student winners from TE!!

  • Attention all GIRLS trying out for the track Team:  Tryouts for the girls' team will begin today.  Please change right after school and meet the coaches in the main gym.  Tryouts will be held until 4:30.  Bring a water bottle and be prepared to go outside.  

  • Who is your favorite Super Hero??  Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Black Panther, Wonder Woman, Captain America or Spiderman??  Now you, too, can be a hero and join the hero squad. Just donate to the box in your homeroom for Pennies for Patients.  The money goes to support research for leukemia, a cancer of the blood.  It also goes to supporting families who have a child battling leukemia. Can we reach our goal of $2000?  Because of our snow days, we have extended our deadline to March 30th.  Look around home for spare change or dollar bills.  You will be glad you helped save a life!  Thank you for your generosity, TE!
  • TETV News auditions for the third trimester will take place  today after school. If you cannot make auditions please see Mr Goric today to make arrangements.
