  • Hello my fellow TE students... Why are the early days of history called the dark ages? Because their were knights everywhere. I'm Brian Murdoch, Thank You.
  • Are you an amazing artist or future author? Then submit to Out of the Blue! Out of the Blue is Timothy Edward’s nationally award winning literary magazine, 7 years in a row! You can submit anything from artwork, to photography, short stories, news articles, and MORE. Our contests (yes we have contests) consist of cover art, writing and poems, and a strive for five contest.  If you don’t submit to this amazing magazine, you are missing out on winning a Amazon gift card that is at least 20 dollars! But you have to summit fast because the deadline is April 15!  If you have some free time during April vacation, instead of sitting around watching Netflix, you could work on your submission! Sage is winning by far with having the most submissions, but the other teams aren't far behind. Grade 7 and 8, you got to step up your game. So be apart of a award winning magazine that's full of prizes and fun! Club members, please be aware that we will NOT meeting on Monday April 1. All students should go home on their regular bus!
  • Do you like the weight room?  Do you want to enhance your physical fitness? If so, the fitness club is for you.  The spring session of the fitness club will be starting after April break.  It will be held every Monday and Thursday until 4:00 pm, starting April 15th and ending May 23rd.  If you are interested, sign up through the Rec Department starting on April 4th at 8:00 am.  There is more information in the girls and boys locker room or you can see Mrs. Giaccone.

  • Well it's finally Spring and that means the dance you've all been waiting for is finally here.  Tonight is the Red, White, and Blue dance. Remember to dress in your best patriotic outfits for the best individual and group competition. This dance always sells out so get your ticket early and don't delay!

  • Softball Tryouts will take place today and Monday, April 1st and run from 2:40 to 4:30.  

  • Attention all students trying out for Track: Tryouts will begin next week until 4:30.  Girls tryouts will be on Monday, April 1st and Wednesday, April 3rd.  Boys tryouts will be Tuesday, April 2nd and Thursday, April 4th.  If you have any questions please come see Mrs. Edwards and Mr. Millard.
  • FORE!  Do you love golf? Or do you want to learn how to play? Please join Mr. Chandler for golf at Willowbrook every Wednesday starting April 17th. This program is run through the Rec Department, and you can sign up either through the website or in person at the Rec Department. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Chandler in the main gym or in room 121. Spots will fill up fast so please don't delay in registering. 

  • Attention all Timothy Edwards Band Members: please report directly to the auditorium today with study materials for band or theory and technique classes.  All band members should also remember to bring their instruments home this weekend as there are assignments in SmartMusic for all grade levels.  Mr. Marci's Day 2 Music Matrix class will still meet in room 144.

  • Thank you to all the students and staff who voted throughout the 4 rounds of the March Madness Book Brackets. 304 students voted in this fourth and final round; here are the results. The winner of the 2019 March Madness Book Bracket is: Forgotten City, by Michael Ford, with 200 votes. The runner up is Tight, by Torry Maldonado with 107 votes. We have multiple copies of many of the 2019 March Madness titles, so make sure to come to the LMC to check them out.

  • On Friday morning, Nandy S will be representing TE at this year's state National Geographic Bee at Central Connecticut State University. She will be competing with 100 of Connecticut's best geographers. Good luck Nandy!!

  • Out of the Blue needs you!  We need more submissions for our cover art contest, our writing contest, and our Strive for Five contest.  Someone will win an amazon gift card for each of our contests.  Join the ranks of awesome students and staff who have already submitted such as Mrs. Roy, Sneh Detroja, Grace Yang and Yashna Praveen.

  • Any student that is participating in Hoops for Heart should bring the money they raised in by this Friday March 29th to their PE teacher.  Remember this money goes to support the American Heart Association.  Thanks for helping this great cause.

  • Do you love writing, poetry, drawing, photography, and more? Then you should submit to Out of the Blue, our school’s literary magazine!!! You might win our cover contest, strive for 5 contest, or even our writing contest. You could even get an Amazon gift card that is worth at least $20. Just remember to get a form. Forms are located in the main office, the Garnet hallway, and on the TEMS homepage. Did you know that 6th grade Sage team has the most submissions in the whole school?! Time is ticking, please do try to submit fast! Please remember that all submissions are due in 2 weeks, Monday April 15, the day we come back from April Break. So please be sure to use your free time over break to work on your submissions. OUT OF THE BLUE NEEDS YOU!!!

  • Attention Entertainers - all lost and found items located in the lobby must be picked up by Friday otherwise they'll be added to school-wide lost and found - at which point they might be lost forever!

  • You’ve all seen the big yellow boxes in your team hallways, right? The preschoolers in POP, along with the rest of us at TE, are collecting supplies and raising money for an animal rescue group. Please support our POP friends by paying $1 to wear a hat tomorrow! Thank you!

  • Attention all students from Mrs. Mordhorst's Day 1 Exploratory class: we will NOT be meeting today after school. Please go home on your regular bus. We WILL meet tomorrow, Thursday, after school in room 134.  

  • Thank you to the 170 students and staff members who have already cast their vote in Round 3 of  March Madness Book Bracket. Voting for Round 3 ends at the end of the day on Thursday and I would love to see many more votes cast. Go to the main LMC page and then to the March Madness Book Bracket link to cast your vote. Remember, you don’t need to have read the book, just vote for the one whose summary sounds the most interesting to you. I am in the process of buying additional copies of these books and they will be available soon.

  • Bravo Entertainers cast & crew - the reviews are in and audiences loved your 4 spectacular performances of Newsies! A big thank you to all of the adults - Ms. Fisher, Ms. Petrin, Ms. Sitarz, Mr. Gulick, Mr. Klein, Mr. Goric, Mr. Canova, Mr. Burhans and of course Mr. Barresi who put in many long hours to help you make this production so successful. Please check the lost and found for any items you may have left behind. Next year's show will be announced in the next couple of months - stay tuned!

  • The GSA, Gay-Straight Alliance, will meet after school today in Mrs. Zaugg's room, Room 332. All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you!
