  • Attention All 6th Grade Students:  If you love ART, we hope you will consider applying to the EXCEL in ART program. We will offer separate EXCEL in ART classes to students in grade 6 that provide an enrichment opportunity beyond what happens in your regular art classes. You will create new and different projects with a variety of art materials. If this sounds good to you, stop down to pick up an application from Ms. Gravell in room 123. All completed applications and portfolio submission are due no later than the morning of December 6th.
  • Boys Basketball Tryouts will take place - Monday Dec 2nd and Tuesday the 3rd from 2:45-4:30 pm.  Tryouts will go until 4:30. Players are expected to have a ride at 4:30.  If you take the late bus at 4:10, please inform Coach McClay on the day of tryouts. Bring a water bottle if necessary.

  • Are you interested in playing girls basketball for TEMS this year.  Tryouts for this year's team will take place on Wednesday Dec 4th and Thursday  the 5th from 2:45-4:30 (immediately after school). Players are expected to have a ride at 4:30 - no exceptions.  If you must take the late bus at 4:10 please let Mr. Chandler know.  All forms, including on-line documents and doctor's note, and $100 payment must be turned in by today.  

  • A reminder to all those who signed up to audition for Aladdin, 8th grade auditions will be held on next Monday, 7th grade next Wednesday, and 6th grade next Thursday.  Please report to the auditorium immediately after school and be prepared to stay until late buses at 4:05.

  • Today for lunch in the Create line you can have Bosco Sticks, in the Grill line you can have Philly Cheese Steak and in the So Deli line you can also have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a good day and do your best to strive for five!

  • Movember is coming to a conclusion and tomorrow is your last chance to vote. Bring in your dollars and come down to the main lobby for our final Mustache Wednesday. Remember that each vote enters you into the raffle to win one of three custom TE Hydro flasks. So come on out and help us beat cancer.

  • With Movember in full swing, we wanted to reach out and say thank you to everyone who has contributed to help fight to end cancer. We will be holding another mustache Friday event this week, so don't miss out. Bring in a dollar and vote for your favorite Movember staff member and get entered into a raffle for the TE Custom Hydro flasks.

Two teams that are competing are from South Windsor and the event is free and open to the public.

  • All registered AMC-8 participants should report to the cafeteria at the end of homeroom to take the test. PLEASE quickly check in with your "C" period class teachers [as needed]. 8th GRADE students should check in with ENCORE teachers. THANK YOU and good luck on the test!

  • Mustache Friday is back tomorrow. Bring in your dollar and come on down to the main lobby Friday morning to get your furry sticky mustache and vote for your favorite Movember Staff Member. Remember that all proceeds from Movember go to fight cancer. Each ballot also enters you into a raffle to win one of three custom hydro-flasks, so vote early and vote often. 

  • Attention all 7th and 8th graders: Are you to looking to sharpen up your basketball skills before tryouts...or maybe you just want to get involved in the sport.  Well, come join Mr. Chandler, Mrs. Hall or Mr. S for intramural basketball after school on November 20th, 21st and 25th.  These dates are on late bus days. Registration is only open to the first 32 students who turn in their signed permission packets.  All three forms must be signed and returned to Mr. Chandler by a parent or guardian by November 18th.  Permission packets can be picked up in the boys and girls locker rooms.  Please see Mr. Chandler, Mrs. Hall or Mr. S for more details in the main gym.
  • Time is running out to register for the AMC-8 Math Test. Use classroom code:  zaru4gm to join the AMC_8 Google Classroom and get the registration form. DEADLINE to register is this Friday November 15th!
