  • Hello TE, It's Friday and you know what that means! What do you call a useless elephant? I don't know, it's Irr-Elephant!!!!!!!

  • Good morning TE students and staff!  We are here to talk up the collection for Puerto Rico.  We are collecting winter clothes such as hats, mittens, scarves and coats.  We are also collecting school supplies such as notebooks, folders, pencils, markers, and binders.  You might be wondering: why school supplies and winter clothes?  Hartford is one of many U.S. cities that is welcoming Puerto Rican students to their public schools while their own schools are being repaired.  The San Juan Center in Hartford is accepting donations of winter clothes and school supplies to help these families during their stay in Connecticut.  And we can help them!  Our theme is "fill a backpack," so get a group of friends together and fill up a backpack with any items we mentioned.  Look for collection boxes in team hallways and in the main office lobby.  Thank you for your support, TE!!!

  • The Outdoor Education Club will be going on a hike after school at Case Mountain in Manchester on Tuesday, November 14th.  Please stop by the main office, see Mr. Wilkinson in room 112, or see Ms. Nelson in room 251 for a form if you're interested.

  • Attention Field Hockey players: Your end of the year celebration will be today from 2:45 until 4:15 in the Cafeteria.  If you have not done so already, please switch out of your big locker.  Any questions see Mrs. Custer or Mr. Wilkinson.
  • Attention 6th and 7th grade basketball players...intramural basketball begins November 13th.  Pick up a permission form from Mr. S or Mr. Wilkinson.  Spots are limited so sign up today.  The deadline is today, November 10th.
  • The end of season party for girls and boys Cross Country is on Tuesday, November 21st at 6:30 in the TE cafeteria.  If you haven't already, please turn in your cleaned uniform in a bag with your name on in to Coach Nelson in room 251.  While you're there, sign up for a snack, sweet, or drink to bring to the end of season party.

  • It is that time of year when we start thinking of family and holiday food.  Thanksgiving will be here soon!  Let's not forget that there are families in our community who struggle to put food on their table.  You may have noticed food drive signs around the building and collection boxes in your team hallways.  Won't you contribute a non-perishable food item to help families in our area?  Together we can make a big difference in their lives.  Thank you!!

  • A big shout out goes to the players in the cougar bowl yesterday afternoon. The weather was nice as the winning streak continued for the teacher team with a 68-18 victory over the student team. Great job to all the students who participated, Offensive MVP goes to Mr. Carnes and sharing the Defensive MVP was Mr. Wilkinson and Mrs. Zurkowski.
