  • With just over a week until the school wide Walk-A-Thon, we are half way to reaching our goal and we need your help getting to the finish line!  Our individual student goal is $40 or more.  It's easy to share your fundraising webpage over email and Facebook.  Share with grandparents, aunt, uncles, neighbors and friends.  Only four, $10 pledges will reach your goal!  Cash and checks are also accepted and may be brought into the school office with your name and team on the envelope.  Let's go Cougars and help us reach our goal!!
  • And now, it's Walk-A-Thon raffle time!  All students that have raised at least $20 in donations so far have been automatically entered in the raffle. Today's lucky winners may pick up their prizes in the office during lunch.  Good luck and thank you for registering with the Walk-A-Thon!
  • The TEMS Field Hockey team traveled to JFK in Enfield yesterday and took home two wins. The first game was a 3-0 shutout with the first goal scored by Maliya Haddock. Kelli Mann scored the next two. Kayden Burke controled the tempo of the game in the midfield and had one assist. TE's defense frustrated the attack with great play by Maya Lagasse, Grace Reed, Avery Fournier and Melissa Murdoch. TE out shot Enfield by 12-1. Ria Saxena was credited with the shout out.
  • The second game was a 1-0 victory with the only goal scored by Emily Osit. Greta Slater was stellar on defense with Isabelle Goodrich, Alexa Parada, Abby Bergstrom and Kaylee Guerrera distributing the ball well due to aggressive play. Sophia Flores was credited with the shutout.  The Cougars next game is home today against Avery Middle School of Somers.  
  • Attention all TEMS musicians!  Audition music is now available for the 2017-2018 Timothy Edwards Middle School Jazz Ensemble!  Don't miss your opportunity to be a part of this award winning ensemble.  Please see Mr. Marci for more information.
  • If you are interested in community service and want to make a difference in the lives of others, then you may want to join TE's Cougar Community Service Club.  Our first meeting will be held Wednesday after school in room 223 in the Scarlet Team hallway.  Looking forward to seeing you there! Again, that is this Wednesday in room 223 in the Scarlet team hallway.
  • STEAM Olympics registration is now open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Sign up to participate in the 2nd annual STEAM Olympics on Saturday October 28th. Students must pre-register to participate in a variety of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematical activities.   • Attention all chorus students:  Please bring study materials or a silent reading book to chorus class today. again Chorus students should bring a book or study materials to class today.
  • Attention students in all grades: First Yearbook meeting is this Thursday afternoon in room 123. Please come if you are interested in creating the 2018 TEMS yearbook. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students all welcome!
  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have Cheese Quesadilla. In the Grill line you can have Meatball Sub and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best, and remember to always strive for 5.
