TE Morning News - November 20, 2019 
  • Attention anyone interested in trying out for cheerleading.  Tryouts will take place - Monday 12/2, Wednesday 12/4 and Thursday 12/5 (immediately after school).  Please change into athletic clothing and sneakers in the locker room and meet in the small gym.  Tryouts will go until 4:00 pm each day.  You must have a ride home at 4:00 or take the late bus home.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Edwards in room 261. 

  • Attention 7th and 8th Grade mediators ONLY: Due to the Band field trip to Hartford Wolfpack, our meeting day will be held on Thursday at Lunch and NOT today. 6th Grade Mediators: We WILL NOT be meeting during lunch today or tomorrow. We will meet next week on our usual meeting day.
  • Are you interested in playing girls basketball for TEMS this year.  Tryouts for this year's team will take place on Wednesday 12/4 and Thursday 12/5 from 2:45-4:30 (immediately after school).  Tryouts will go until 4:30.  Players are expected to have a ride at 4:30 - no exceptions.  If you must take the late bus at 4:10 please let Mr. Chandler know.  All forms, including on-line documents and doctor's note, and $100 payment must be turned in no later than Friday, November 22nd.  Again, all forms and documents are to be turned in by this Friday, November, 22nd.

  • Today is the last day to join Entertainers.  Join Google Classroom with code ywic9t3 and see Ms. Petrin in room 131 with your $30 participation fee.  

  • Attention All 6th Grade Students:  If you love ART, we hope you will consider applying to the EXCEL in ART program. We will offer separate EXCEL in ART classes to students in grade 6 that provide an enrichment opportunity beyond what happens in your regular art classes. You will create new and different projects with a variety of art materials. If this sounds good to you, stop down to pick up an application from Ms. Gravell in room 123. All completed applications and portfolio submission are due no later than the morning of December 6th.

  • Winter sports registration is now open!  Register via Parent Portal’s E-collect forms.  A physician statement dated after 6/1/19, if not previously submitted, is necessary to try out.  Deadline is November 22nd! 

  • Attention all band students, IT'S WOLF PACK HOCKEY DAY. All Band student should report to auditorium this morning with their instruments at 8:15 AM.  Please bring with you anything you will need for the day including your lunch.

  • Boys Basketball Tryouts will take place - Monday 12/2 and Tuesday 12/3 from 2:45-4:30 pm.  Players are to change into athletic clothing in the boy's locker room and meet in the main gym. Tryouts will go until 4:30. Players are expected to have a ride at 4:30.  If you take the late bus at 4:10, please inform Coach McClay on the day of tryouts. Bring a water bottle if necessary.

  • Today for lunch in the Create line you can have Meatballs in Zesty Marinara, in the Grill line you can have Turkey Corn Dog and in the So Deli line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a good day and do your best to strive for five!

TE Morning News - November 20, 2018 
  • Three TEMS students and one student from Orchard Hill competed in First Lego League robotic competition this weekend at the Tolland Regionals.  Anthony Fedewa, Richard Lou, Jacob Chen and Orchard Hill's Akhil Gunti worked on a robot design and mission to solve the problem of exercising in space.  They took first place in this competition and earned the golden ticket to move on to the state competition.  Congratulations to the four boys and best of luck at states!!
  • The girls and boys cross country end of season party will be tonight, November 20th at 6:30 in the cafeteria.  Please stop by Coach Nelson's room in 251 to sign up for a snack or item to bring to the party and to turn in your cleaned uniform if you haven't already done so. We look forward to seeing you there.  Thank you!
  • Girls Basketball tryouts for the TEMS Girls basketball team will be held after school on Wednesday, November 28th and Thursday, November 29th.  Tryouts will run until 4:00 pm on both days.  Late buses will be available after school on both days of tryouts.  If you have any questions regarding tryouts, please see Mr. Chandler in the main gym or in room 121.
  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have French Toast, in the Grill line you can have Mozzarella Sticks and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches.  Have a great day, do your best,  remember to always strive for 5!
