  • The field hockey team lost a heart breaker with a score of 1-0 against Stafford Middle school. Although TE dominated most of the game the lady Cougars could not find the back of the net.  Captains Morgan Reed, Kaitlin Hardy, and Abby Bergstrom showed true leadership and determination throughout the game. In the second game, the Cougars came out victoriously with a score of 1-0.  Jillian Yelle and Vanessa Leigl were credited for the goal.  Standouts for the cougars were Caroline Jacobs, Grace Perkins, Katie Dunn, Hanna Edstrom,Taylor Zanelli, and Reese Pellerin.  Mr. Wilkinson and Mrs. Custer are very proud of the girls both on and off the field raising over $1,2000 for the South Windsor Food Bank.  Thank you to all who supported the team in their fundraising efforts.

  • Good Morning TE, We are here this morning to remind everyone about the Operation Gratitude collection drive we are having tomorrow. We will be collecting items that will be sent to our soldiers, veterans, and first responders. We are looking for travel sized personal items such as deodorant, baby powder, and sunscreen. We are also looking to collect batteries, gum, hand warmers and black crew length socks. We hope that you will contribute in any way you can tomorrow. We will have collection boxes inside each entrance and in the main lobby on Friday. Lets all help say thank you to the people who serve.
  • The TEMS Boys Soccer game played it's last game of the season last night falling to Tolland 2-1.  With the wind howling and the sun beaming down, the Cougars struck first by virtue of a Aadi Dey penalty.  The Falcons continued to press, and ultimately they broke the Cougars down.  Two quick goals and we were behind late in the first half.  The second half was a stalemate and the final score was identical to that of the first period.  Jack Stricker, Owen Verzella, and Kyle Castro were strong in the back and thwarted many of the Falcon attacks.  Several others contributed nicely off the bench.  It was the last contest for the 8th graders this season.  Please congratulate the boys when you see them.  The 8th graders are Aadi Dey, Kyle Castro, Xavier Crane, Owen Verzella, Dylan Hutton, Kiran Francis, Damian Ayala, Anthony That, Ben Bernstein, Jack Stricker.  Contratulation once again boys on a fine season.
