  • Good morning TE!  Break out your neon and join your friends this Friday at the Neon Dance. Tickets will be on sale for $7.00 in the front lobby before school this week. Don’t miss it- dancing, snacks, and time with your friends!

  • Attention all Volleyball Enthusiasts: Volleyball Intramurals will be starting February 12th! Volleyball Intramurals is free to any student at TE on late bus days.   You must have a ride home by 4:00 or take the late bus home.  If you are interested please pick up a form in either locker room.  Space is limited so come pick up a form.  Any questions see Mrs. Custer or any of the PE teachers.
  • There will be a very brief Yearbook meeting on Thursday right after school to take our yearbook picture. 

  • Attention all 8th graders:  A great opportunity is available to you! Each month the counseling department hosts a “business lunch” giving you a chance to talk to different people about their careers. It is now time to sign up for the February Business Lunch!  Are you interested in becoming a lawyer? Like to prove your point and want a career helping others win their cases?   If so, this is your opportunity to hear from Mr. Lagasse an expert in his field. Come hear what it’s really like to be an attorney! We are honored to have Mr. Lagasse during the 8th grade lunch on Thursday, February 8th.  Be one of the first 15 students to sign up in the counseling office. This is a great opportunity you should not miss!  If you’re interested in becoming a lawyer, sign up today!  
  • Good morning TEMS We have our TEMS shirts, caps and winter hats.  To make the look complete we need TEMS Socks!  Yes, that’s right SOCKS!!  Order your TEMS socks today.  You can order grey and purple or white and purple.  Socks are of great quality and complete with our cougar emblem.  Socks are $12.00 a pair, order forms are in the main office. 

  • The Lady Cougars are back to their winning ways after taking down the JFK Patriots 35-27.  The Cougs were led by Maria Galley with 11 points, and Lexie Wheeler had 10.  Ava Magarian had a big 6 points in a starting role while Haydin Courtois, Olivia Petgrave, Bridget Doherty chipped in 4, 2 and 2 points respectively.  Stepping up on the defensive end were Ella Suppicich, Jada Reyes-Tran, Morgan Reed and Reagan H-D.  "This was a great team win," Coach Chandler said.  "Everyone contributed both on and off the court.  They worked hard and the win was the correct result," he added.  The Lady Cougars travel to Tolland today to take on the Eagles in another CRAL match-up.  Congratulations ladies.

  • Any 7th graders who are interested in participating in a group to learn more about Cheney Tech and Technical High Schools must fill out a permission slip and return it to guidance this week.

  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have General T'sos Chicken. In the Grill line you can have Chicken Nuggets and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best, and remember to always strive for 5!
