In the first half, the Cougar's tried to get a rhythm as Abby Peruccio and Emerson Iacovelli linked together numerous passes. Amazing defensive performances came from Megan Martin, Sidney Montana, Hailey Testa, and Huntyr Courtois. Rounding out the wing backs was Anna Matus and Chion Pollard, who with the support of the Haley Butler in goal, helped hold Tolland to only 1 goal by halftime. In the second half, Lexi Lilly, Emily Ledger, Katelyn Roux, and Sarah Gordon created a handful of chances, and did an amazing job pressuring the Tolland defense. The Cougars displayed hustle throughout the second half with great tackles from 6th grader's Elise Suffish and Ritika Abburi.
