TE Morning News - 5/23/18 
  • Having some troubles with your friend or friends? Sometimes, it’s hard to work things out with your friends by yourself. Peer Mediation can help! Fill out a Peer Mediation Request forms in your hallway, the guidance office or our new online form, go to the TE homepage, click on Parents and Students, and then click on Peer Mediation Request form. After filling out the request form, you will have a special meeting time scheduled during your lunch in our Peer Mediation Room 376 to work things out with your friends. The specially trained Peer Mediators will help you get your friendship back on track! 
  • Join Outdoor Education Club for a stand up paddle boarding and kayaking trip at Collinsville Canoe & Kayak on Saturday, June 9th.  If you are interested, please stop by the main office, Mr. Wilkinson’s room, or Ms. Nelson’s room for a form.  Forms are due back by Friday, June 8th.

  • Attention all Track team members:  Today's track meet has been cancelled.  We will still have practice until 4:30 pm. Late buses are available if you can't stay until 4:30. See you this afternoon.

  • Attention all students:  There are a limited number of yearbooks for purchase! Reserve your yearbook today by placing an order using the link on the TEMS web page! Just $35.00 for a lifetime of memories!

  • Attention Mr. Chandler's G Period class today - Please report to Room 121 today with study materials.  Do not go to the gym today - go directly to room 121.

  • Have you seen this year's colorful issue of Out of the Blue?  Isn't it amazing!  Well, if you did not submit to the magazine, you can still have your own copy!  You should even get your friends to sign their amazing work!  You never know, it could be worth a lot one day!  Copies of our magazine will be sold for $2 in Ms. Olsen's room, room 312 in the Garnet hallway.  Your support by buying a copy of our magazine will help us as we try to reach new goals to expand our magazine and add new features next year!

  • Do you like PE class or like to play games?  If so, then TEPEE camp is just for you.  There will be many different types of activities being offered such as Pinguard, Handball, Basketball and Flag Football, just to name a few.  TEPEE dates are June 25-29th from 830-12 pm here at TE.  If you are interested, please sign up through the recreation department or pick up a bright green form in the main gym or your health class.  Any questions?  Please see Miss Gasparino.  Thanks!  

  • Wanna see what our schools hidden talents look like. Well come on out for this years amazing TE's Got Talent. Tickets for TE's Got Talent will be on sale starting next week, May 29th - June 6th in the main lobby. Please come on out and see what wonderful talent we have in our community.

  • TE Peer Mediators and the South Windsor Public Works are teaming up for the  "Fill A Truck" Food Drive. Starting TODAY please bring in  nonperishable food items, canned goods and boxed foods, and help our school successfully fill a Public Works' truck full of food. All donated food can be placed in a recycling bin in the lobby of the school. All the food that you donate will go to the South Windsor Food Bank. Please help support this wonderful cause!
  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have Chicken Nuggets. In the Grill line you can have Corn Dog and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best,  remember to always strive for 5!
