  • TE Peer Mediators and the South Windsor Public Works are teaming up for the  ”Fill A Truck” Food Drive. Starting on Monday may 18th please bring in  nonperishable food items, canned goods and boxed foods, and help our school successfully fill a Public Works’ truck full of food. All donated food can be placed in a recycling bin in the lobby of the school. All the food that you donate will go to the South Windsor Food Bank. Please help support this wonderful cause!
  • To celebrate the Timothy Edwards 50th Anniversary this month, here’s today’s “Would You Believe?” story from a longtime TE teacher, Mr. Jerry Hilliard:

How would you like to switch schools part way through the year?

Would you believe that back in January 1968: all the students and teachers that were in “Junior High” school were scattered around the town of South Windsor at Ellsworth, Wapping, and at South Windsor High School. They were all told that they would be moving into the new Timothy Edwards Junior High over the February vacation.

By the end of January, it became obvious that that wouldn’t happen, and the school wouldn’t be ready until mid March.

On Friday, March 15th 1968 the students were told to clean out their lockers and report to the new Timothy Edwards school here at 100 Arnold Way on Monday.

  • And Now Here Is Our Meteorologist Jordan With The Weather!!!! Yesterday evening was pretty crazy but luckily the rest of the week doesn’t look that bad. As we continue the week today’s temperatures will be in mid sixties with mostly cloudy skies but as we head into the evening hours there is a slight chance for some rain showers, nothing to really be worried about. The rest of the week isn’t looking the nicest with temperatures ranging in the mid sixties other than a couple days which will be in the seventies, with low temperatures this week in the mid to upper fifties. We are expecting some rain showers during the end of this week and beginning of next week, but the next two days are looking pretty sunny. Jordan Cosman, TETV morning news, guys, back to you.
  • Today for lunch... In the Create line you can have Sloppy Joe. In the Grill line you can have Crispy Chicken Tenders and in the On the Go line you can have your choice of deli sandwiches. Have a great day, do your best,  remember to always strive for 5!
