Pitcher Josie Tomkunas played her best game so far and had 6 strikeouts.  Congratulations ladies!

  • On Monday, the boys track team took on Illing Middle School at home.  Although the boys put up a tough fight, they came away with a loss, 43-62.  Mathias Baidoo had a fantastic meet, setting personal bests in all 4 of his events and breaking into the TE Top Ten in multiple.  He started by teaming up with Jamar Nickson, Avaneesh Savkar, and Luis Lopez. Casimir to break a 20 year old TE record for the 4x100 relay, setting a new number one time of 48.52 seconds, which will be hard to beat for years.  Mathias also took first in the long jump, jumping 18 feet 3 inches.  He set a new personal best by jumping 5 feet 2 inches in the high jump.  Jeff Zeng, Colton Flaherty, Erik Edstrom and James Swett helped the distance team sweep the mile and 800 meter run.  Joe Dulin set a personal best in the 400 meter sprint, earning 2nd place.  Luca Corticelli also set a personal best in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9.01 seconds.  There was a lot for the boys to be proud of and now they set their sights on prepping for the CRAL championship this Thursday!  Go Cougars!
