  • Good Morning TE,
    • As you are aware, we have practice drills regularly, both evacuation and lockdown.  During our last lockdown drill there were a few things that we saw which require more attention.  First of all, when you hear that a lockdown is being announced, you must remain calm and silent so that you can hear the directives of your teachers.  You are to remain out of sight of the doorway and silent throughout the drill so not to call attention to yourselves.  If you are in a stairwell and come to a team area where all doors are already shut, you can go to the nearest bathroom, kick out the doorjamb  so that the door will shut and lock,  go into a stall and remain silent until the lockdown is over.  Remember, we practice so that we know what to do in the event of an emergency.  Your safety is our number one priority.  We will be practicing a lockdown drill in the cafeteria in the near future. Here’s to making 2019 your best year yet!!  Have a great day, work hard and ALWAYS STRIVE FOR FIVE plus one!
